Just a snapshot of a type experiment I’m working on. I want to explore large terminals and truncated descenders for a typeface. Then I got to thinking of thin bowls, and the ‘a’ represented these ideas well. Then I cut it in half to be hip and cool. 

Just a quick experiment to clear my mind. Heavily inspired by ISO50 aka Tycho. He put something up similar to this and loved the colors and circular focus.

I’ve been wanting to make something with super heavy noise in it, so there’s a little of that in there as well. Enjoy!

I used to draw a lot of cars, starting as free-hand sketches, then polish the in Photoshop. Had this one lying around - basically a compact city car that focused on interior space. It would also have an AWD variant. Fun stuff - enjoy~

I entered this into a design contest (which I’m usually opposed to, but I had some free time awhile back) for the electronic trio Savoy, coming up with a cover to their ‘We Are The Sun’ EP. I didn’t win unfortunately, but I thought I would share it with the internet anyways. Really enjoyed the process and freedom with this one. And if you scroll down the page, a little, you’ll see an early image of this piece.

Rihanna all jazzed up. I started to make a series of these portraits in this style, but haven’t had time to continue them. This is definitely my favorite. Enjoy! 

Just some doodles for a project. I doubt anything will come of these - Yes…I’m playing the new Angry Birds a little bit. 

Something I made for a client that never got published or used on a project. I liked it anyway. Daft Punk is a popular theme - I think it’s because they represent such a varied music genre, and they can be seen as both “techy” and bright and colorful. This particular piece represented their dance music that is good to exercise to - shedding pountds and making you sweat.

An app design I’m working on for a new client/project. I cannot reveal much at this time, but it deals with water and reducing the waste associated with bottle water. We are teaming up with hotel’s, hence this current screen cap. 

I’m still tweaking UI issues and such, but I’m liking it so far!  

Haven’t updated this space in awhile since I’ve been so busy here in NYC, but here is an early comp of something I just finished. I’m really happy with the finished product! 

It’s much more colorful now, but I really liked the undersketch with the light blue on this background. Enjoy! 

Rough sketch I did in my free time this week. Experimenting with fading copied vector layers for a more dimensional effect. Also using the pencil tool insterad of the pen tool for a more rapid fill technique.
